What are molybdenum rods used for?
Typical uses are high-temperature furnaces, heating elements, glass melting, semiconductor and vacuum technology — wherever high temperature resistance with good conductivity is required.
What is the difference to TZM?
TZM is a molybdenum alloy with a higher recrystallisation temperature and strength at high temperatures. Pure molybdenum is sufficient for standard applications; for the highest thermal loads TZM is the better choice.
